Bottled (from Vinmonpolet Kirkenes). Yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is herbal, some grainy bready and herbal. Quite much like some Bygland beers with the same malts. Flavour is herbal, earthy and some bready and mild herbal tones. Sweet grains in the background.

500 ml bottle, batch #2634, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7%, IBU 30. Moderately hazy pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of grain, wort, dust and over-ripe yellow plums. The flavour is better than the aroma, notes of citrus and yellow stonefruits, on a sufficient malt base.

Draft. A cloudy golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, citrus fruits, spices, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle. A small white head forms over an almost clear golden body. The aroma feels very malty-dusty at first, but soon flowers and citrus takes over. Quite malty in the back, in an almost rye-like way, with notes of white bread and a faint touch of dough. Citrus zest, orange, pine cones and grass. It's full-bodied and perhaps a bit heavily carbonated, semi-dry, with a decent bitterness. The flavor too is quite malty, in a way that feels slightly sickening towards the end. Bread, dusty malts and a hint of hay. Mostly hoppy though, with pine cones, grass, citrus zest, orange hints and flowers. Lasting hop driven finish. Not sure the malt used is well suited for hoppy beers like this. Else, it's a quite decent brew. 221211
