Draught. Black colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is chocolate, yeast and some slight earthy tones. Flavour is roasted, some chocolate, yeast and mild tart wooden tones. Startng infection?

The second batch is much better, with a nice chocolaty and fresh fruity aroma. Some yeastiness that does not seem appropriate. The taste is moderately sweet, light chocolate, and just a bit of tannins that work well, drying the beer up.




17-MAY-2015. TAP from the brewery. First batch. It is black with pretty clear red highlights, beige head with subpar retention. The aroma is simple roasted malts and coffee beans, a touch of green fruit tartness. The taste is similar - dry and roasty, moderate hop bitterness. Clean, no off-flavours, just too simplistic and boring. 6-3-5-2-12=2.8
