Bottle: Poured a dark mahogany color ale with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of candi sugar, dry fruits with some caramelized malt notes is pretty enticing. Taste is a good mix of residual candi sugar, dry fruits, and caramelized malt notes with some light yeasty notes. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very enjoyable but doesn’t have the complexity of some of the classic Trappist Quadrupel.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Very mellow trappist aroma. Very dark brown so that it appears black with a nice foam top. Very deep powerful black cherry classic trappist taste. Sweeter than most perhaps. Reasonable carboantion.

A dark brown beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has dried fruitness, but it's fresh, prune, apricot. Taste has dried fruitness, prune, apricot, not too sweet, some herbs. Medium+ bodied. Great beer, reminds me about a brilliant Abbaye des Rocs Triple Impériale.

33cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours deep brown with cream foam, fine. Aroma is rich of raisins, fig, molasses, caramel. Body is dense, with good carbonation. Taste is medium-high sweet. Final is average, actually.

Hazy amber beer, small tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Floral caramel, spice, quite a bit of fruity esters. Mild bitterness. Quite a dry finish. Fine. Wasn’t in the mood for this and not sure I ever would be!
