Panimomme ensimmäinen imperial stout. Tämä rikas ja maltainen olut on tehty käyttäen tummia maltaita ja hieman lakreitsinjuurta keiton lopussa.

Bottled. Black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is toffee, some burnt sugary and chocolaty tones with a wee bit of alcohol. Flavour is liquorice, roasted malts, some alcohol, quite strong on the bitterness. Not that much happening, but still a good basic Imperial Stout, which is good to continue the development from.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 14.11.2020, from the brewery, 20200628) The beer poured black. Its head was small, lightly brown and dense. Aroma had burnt malts and dark chocolate. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, liquorice, alcohols and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. The body and flavours were surprisingly thin.
