Can. Darkest brown, dark amber foam. Dark roast, lightly burnt caramel, rural, farty, herbal and aromatic hops. Medium body, foamy, sparkly. Roast, minerally edges, cocoa, citric, floery hops, dry wooden finish. Surprisingly refreshing given the flavor intensity.

11.2 ounce can from Beer Run, 6/30/23. Dark brown, medium brown head, average retention. Aroma of roast, rye, chocolate, molasses. Taste is roast, tobacco, leather, rye, nuts. Slick. Nice. New brewery! Brewery # 2180, Estonia # 4.

Bottled@M/S Star. Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is chocolate, creamy, oats, some mild floral and vanilla notes. Flavour is toasted, chocolate, some vanilla, oats and mild bitterness as well.

12oz can from Lexington Co-op. Dark brown pour, wispy beige head. Roasty, chocolaty aroma. Taste is subtle roasty, burnt toast, chocolate, mild sweetness. So smooth. Exquisite.

Can, 5.5%. Very dark brown with small tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, vanilla and bread. Flavour is roasted malt, bread, chocolate, medium sweet, vanilla and a little bitter.
