This Cream Ale has been brewed using Rodolfo coffee beans, sourced from a small independent family-run farm for thirty years. You’ll find notes of jasmine and honey, entwined with mango and citrus fruits, leading to hints of coffee on the finish. A light refreshing beer.

Keg at Black Cloak Taproom. Aroma has cacao and an underlying indescribable sweetness. Opaque gold. Translucent white head just recedes to the rim. Flava is citrusy. The cacao is there but ephemeral. Light-medium bodied. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Cream Ale is not a style I have particularly enjoyed in the past but this one lacks the sweetness that puts me off the style.

Can from the Black Toad. Appearance - golden amber and clear. Thin white head. Nose - green coffee bean, an edge of honey and maybe chocolate. Taste - coffee, creamy, like cold, milky coffee. Palate - light to medium bodied, creamy sweet middle and finish. Overall - decent.
