Cask at Station Tap, Chester. Pours dark reddish-brown with a small off-white head and good lacing. The aroma has malts, toasted bread and hints of bacon. In the mouth it fluctuates between bitter and sweet. Flavour has malts, traditional hops, rye-grains and spices. Later on there are hints of caramel and autumn fruits too. Bitterness lasts into the fruity finish. This is decent.
