Tap@Bryggeri Helsinki, Helsinki (08/08/2019) - amber to brown pour with a beige head. Sweet malty with some notes of caramel and toffee, some dried fruit, brown sugar, medium plus body, spiced warming malty finish. Nice.

Keg at the brewpub. 25/05/19. Dark fruit aroma. Some perfume. Cloudy brown. Creamy white head. Medium bitter with a sweet streak. Dark fruits. Doughy. Medium bodied. Oily. Average carbonation. Long warming astringent. Fine but lacks depth.

Tap @ SOPP Turku 2018. Smell of nuts, raisins, some malt. Hazy copper colour, beige head. Aroma of nuts, raisins, caramel malt, burnt sugar, cough mixture, some oak. Medium carbon, oily texture. Very sweet. Great BW.

Draught@HBF2016. Deep amber colour, not much head. Aroma is fruity, floral, wooden and some mild cheesy notes as well. Flavour is alcohol, some slight caramel malts, ripe fruits, nuts, floral notes as well as some slight sprucelike notes. Nicely balanced flavour.

Tap at Bryggeri Helsinki. Toffee, hops in the nose. Medium-bodied. Earthy toffee , alcohol, hops. Quite well in style. Aging potential.

(Keg at Bryggeri Helsinki, 20141205) The beer poured very dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized, lightly brown and it lasted quite long. Aroma had malts, caramel, dried plum and sweetness. Palate was rather full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, green apples, sweetness, dried plum and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. Aroma was very good but the taste had components that weren’t in my liking. I’m not sure would aging help.

Pours reddish brown with no head. Aroma of berries, malts, toffee, syrup, yeast and raisins. Taste is sweet, yeasty and malty with loads of berries, strawberry and syrup. Finish is sweet, stuffy and syrupy with some berries and toffee. A strawberry overdose.

Draught @ Olut Expo Finland 2014Aroma has rather strong and sweet strawberry tones. And quite nothing else. Flavour is somewhat acidic with sweet strawberries and hints of gastric acid. One strawberry kissel.Draught @ the brewpub. Green apples and strawberries, a bit acidic. Alcohol is present and disturbs a bit and strawberries are not that strong. But no big changes after the previous rating.
