Unicorn Jeff, the birthday balloon. Taken from us before their time. We shall forever miss you. Fly safe. Beware power lines.

We pay tribute to our fallen floating warrior with a hefty NEIPA laden with El Dorado and Mosaic, for a soft and juicy mashup of mango and pineapple. Bold and beautiful, just like our Jeff.

Draught, flight at Indie Rabble Brewery and Taproom. Shared with Finn. Fair lacing from a tiny white head, misty golden body. Tropical aromas added by a scent of citrus, inviting. Hop fruity flavours, hints of pineapple, mandarin, and peaches. Mid-sweet hop fruity end. Fair enough. (Windsor, 17.03.2024).

Draft at the brewery taproom, Windsor. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, juicy grapefruit, pineapple, mango, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 13/01/24. Moderately hazed orange golden with an off white cap that thins edgewards. Nose is orange zest, grass, mandarin, papaya, melon. Taste comprises orange peel, grapefruit, airy malts, mandarin, light hop spice, nip of pine, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with balanced juicy come moderately resinous ho pbitterness. Not bad.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, slightly soft, reasonable fine minerally carbonation. Smooth pale malts, slightly thin but more than adequate creamy sweetness. Hops bring soft pine and light and slightly ripe citrus. Modest and sweetish tropical fruits. Whisper of skunk before a light finish that finds the creamy malt base still going strong. Decent stuff, could be a lot more pointy elbowed on the hop front for me.
