Bottiglia. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di orzo tostato, cioccolato e affumicato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste abbastanza. Le bollicine sono grandi. Il colore è come l'inchiostro nero. Il corpo è strutturato non pesante. L'amaro è non invasivo. La forza gustativa è molto elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona e lunga. Il gusto è piacevolissimo. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è intenso e persistente. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, cioccolato fondente, caffè, liquirizia, frutta secca, pane tostato e agrumi.

Draught@TCBW2022. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, nutty, toffeeish and some wooden tones along with mild alcohol sweetness. Flavour is ripe fruits, liquorice,toffee, wood and some mild alcohol sweetness along with some toasted tones.

Pours viscous without any head forming to motoroil-like beer. Strong stout/roast nose with a happy dose of alcohol - but refined spirit, not boozy. Chocolate, chalk, plywood, toffee. Sweet, drop , liquorice, with a bit dryness and even salt ( zoute drop ). Quite slick, viscous, some alcoholwarmth, low carbonation. Missing sorely complexity, certainly for such a strong stout. Backlog October 2020. Dark brown, almost black body under a god looking, lacing tan head. Aroma has dark malt, licorice, hint of chocolate and some warming alcohol. Taste is sweet with smooth roasted malt, chocolate, licorice and warming alcohol. Medium body and same aftertaste. Nice and tasty.

KØLF 250920. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is cocoa, roasted malt. Flavor is alcohol, licorice, roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa. Very nice beer.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Shared with Finn. Jet black in the glass. Poor lacing, fawn-coloured head. Dark malt-driven smell, hints of liquorice and chocolate, promising. Blended taste of dark chocolate, liquorice and prunes. Mid-sweet malty ending, roasted. Fine depth. Pleasing sipper. (Bergstua, Malangen 18.06.2020).
