Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours “bitter brown” with a small scummy off-white head and good lacing. The aroma is mainly malts with just a trace of traditional hops. In the mouth it is somewhere between sweet and bitter with a creamy texture. Traditional hops and malts in the flavour with marmalade and hints of ginger coming later. Finish is slightly dry. This is on the decent side of reasonable !

Mørk stråfarget. Klar. Filmskum. Lett kjeksaroma. Smaken tørket frukt med innslag av malt. Tørr lett bitter avslutning.

Half-pint, cask ale. Good looking with its deep amber body, rich lacing from a decent beige head. Green hops and bread-like malts on the nose, promising. Fine balanced taste of leafy hops, ripe fruits, and earthy malts. Smooth bitter tail. Well made version of the style. (Liverpool, 12.02.2025).

Cask @ Hogarth's, Preston. Clear amber with a small creamy head. Hoppy bitter, but at the lower end of bitterness. Some malts.

From tap at Dog & Duck in Soho with Terje 28.11.22. Clear golden. Excellent aroma and taste of pale malt, succade and meadows. Not to sweet. Very quaffable! An excellent bitter!
