This year sees the 10th anniversary of Jakehead IPA which we humbly believe is considered one of the beers that helped propel the UK independent beer scene and is regarded as something of a modern classic.

To celebrate 10 years (where did they go!) we have brewed a one off Imperial Jakehead 10%.

The beer will see its first pour on 15th December which we have cheekily monikered NATIONAL JAKEHEAD DAY.

Can thanks to my bro. It pours murky burnt golden - yellow with a decent white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, dank, weedy, super ripe, tangy candied pineapple, nectarine, melon, mango salsa, brioche, solera, coconut and Pina colada. The taste is drying, touch of bitterness, green, weedy, dank, damp herbal vibes, spicy, slight rawness, super ripe pineapple, juicy, tangy, melon, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, pomelo, brioche, floury bread and some boozey warmth through the finish. Fulsome body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Really grew on me. Super fruity and weedy. Robust and wholesome.

440ml can. Pours a murky orange gold, white head. Aroma of ripe orange and mango, peach, marmalade, tropical fruits. Taste of ripe orange and peach, mango, marmalade, tropical fruits, candied citrus, peppery spice, sweet and sticky and thick. Excellent, such a great TIPA.

Can from The Fuss Club. Milky orange pour with a white head. Uber fruity aromas of mango, papaya, peach, tangerine, touch of coconut. Big bold juicy flavours of mango, peach, tangerine, papaya, really thick. Juicy sweet fruity mouthfeel. Bang on!

Keg at Beer & Burger, Willesden Green, London. A hazy dark golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, orange, mango, peach, tropical fruit aroma & taste. Beautiful dank DIPA that is almost the perfect beer, goes down so easily. A lovely drop.

440ml can. Pours hazy orange gold with a large head. Aroma is dank tangerine, peach and savoury hop. Taste has lots of tangerine, peach and savoury onion hop, with a boozy finish.
