375ml bottle from Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a mostly clear medium brown colour with a round bubbly light tan head. The aroma is roasty, big molasses. The flavour is strong sweet, with a smooth, rich, dry, oaky, liquorice, big warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Over medium bodied with flat carbonation.

Мне очень нравится серия Off the Rack от Лервиг так что было дико интересно сравнить его с мостодонтами из Штатов. Это хорошее пиво безусловно, есть бочка яркая, виски с карамельными составляющими, но удивло что оно резко проигрывает топам, прям ощутил это, не хватает глубины на финише.

375ml bottle pours out black topped with a small tan head. Nose is great big roast malts chocolate bourbon barrel vanilla. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate roast malts some ash big bourbon barrel notes.

0,375l from bottle at home. Black color, small tab head. smells vanilla, whisky, molasses, Marzipan. Very nice smell. full body, light carbonation. tastes molasses, whisky, vanilla, nutty, soy sauce, coffee. finishes lightly sweet and lightly roasty bitter with notes of vanilla, nutty and soy sauce notes. Very nice one, rather on the soy sauce side

Intensiv malziger Beginn. Röstig würzig, vollmundig getreidig mit Noten von Kakao, zunehmend alkoholisch, was in Teilen stört, sich aber schnell wieder harmonisiert. Erhöhte Viskosität, cremig, komplex mit einen Hauch Vanille, dunklen getreidigen Roggennoten oder süßlichem Whiskey. Langer Ausklang. 10/12/12/12/11/12

Solid evening sipper this one. Dark moon rinsing and a beige cloud on top. Fine intensity in the aroma. Balanced sweetness and a fine soft carbonation level. Dark malt, fruity, chocolate, oak and mild whiskey in the flavor. Well masked alcohol level [Bottle - shared with ChrisOfstad]
