Pours black, no real head. Scent is roasty, whisky quite recognizable. Wood. Taste is full, intense roast, rye whisky is very prominent and recognizable. Higher boozyness, obviously, towards too high for sure but ofcourse the ABV explains that well enough. thick body, quite damn nice but not the extreme superb stout I had hoped for.

Bottle, 375ml. Dark brown to black in there glass, oily pour, with a minimalistic tan head. Alcohol, roasted malts, dark chocolate, booze, some coffee hints and then even more chocolate. It's full bodied and warming, sweet and sticky, with lots of dark flavors. Dark chocolate, booze, roasted malts, coffee hints and some wood. Lasting finish. Delicious indeed, with the alcohol well hidden. 240126

170ml draught at Ølhallen. Shared with Finn. Bare naked surface, scattered lacing, pitch black body. Attractive smell of bread, dried fruits, and oak. Solid taste character of dried fruits, chocolate-caramel malts, dark bread, and oak. Long-lived, warming finish with a delicate peaty note. Full bodied. Enjoying. (Tromsø, 10.01.2024).
