The 4th Duke of Sutherland encouraged more than 30 families to settle on his Canadian estate just east of Brooks by offering free travel to any tradesmen, farmers and labourers willing to emigrate.
Iron Hat Brewing Company can think of no better way to honor the Duke’s invitation to immigrants than to raise a glass of our People’s Project Hazy IPA with the traditional Scottish toast, Ceud fàilte! (a hundred Welcomes!)

473ml can. Pours a hazy blonde with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that laces nicely. Aroma of bready pale malt, funky yeast and weedy hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready pale malt, grapefruit, lime and piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not bad, but could use some work. More of a Westie than a Hazy.
