Bottle at TCrBF 2018. Pours yellow. Aroma is artificial lime, cardboard, faint malts. Flavor follows the nose. Overall: bad, but i have had a lot worse.

25 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 12/7/2017. Pours crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lightly tart lime, lemon, and citrus zest; with lighter notes of cracker, white bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Okay aromas with lime and light malt/earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart lime, lemon, and citrus zest; with lighter notes of cracker, white bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal/grassy/spicy bitterness and citrus tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of lightly tart lime, lemon, citrus zest, cracker, white bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Solid robustness and good balance of lime and malt/earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/tartness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/tartness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, fairly bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is good. Pretty thin, but not watery feeling. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a decent flavored light lager. All around solid robustness and good balance of lime and malt/earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Not bad at all, balanced lime and clean light lager flavors. Nothing wrong with it; a bit artificial feeling, but not offensive. An enjoyable offering.

By this point in the day (7/11/15), I was heavily hungover from the past night, had been drinking a mix of margaritas, johnny walker red and smirnoff green apple nips, pbr and modelo and was drunker than I’d been in a while, though still coherent. My friends had a 12 pack of bottles of this, so I said, what the hell, I’m blasted, what do I care? Well, after two or three sips, I didn’t even want to drink this stuff, even for the sole purpose of getting drunk. Just so artificially sweet and flawed. Definitely not refreshing. I like corona+lime or modelo+lime as much as the next guy, but this is not the same thing (or maybe bud light+lime, which I’ve never tried, is equally undrinkable). Pretty sad when lime flavor can’t make your beer more palateable....

16 oz can after too much painting. Pale straw with a decent head. Grainy lime aroma and flavor. I actually didn’t hate this one. I could actually drink a few of these on a hot summer day.
