330ml bottle. Quasi black colour with slightly late awakening, small, dense, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty and chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of chocolate, cocoa, caramel, dark caramel, toffee, a touch of liquorice; very weak, worm-eaten, woody, even minimally fungous overtones. Taste is roasty, chocolately, dark malty, caramel malty and minimally tart-ish, tannic, notes of dark chocolate, toffee, caramel, a touch of liquorice, some residual sweetness, minimally woody, tannic overtones.
Slim body, oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation.
Very homogeneous but not fully harmonious, fairly multifacetted, nevertheless somehow scant, narrow, stinted, hence almost a bit monotonous - not that exciting.

Bottled Feb. '23. Pours a pitch black body and a somewhat frothy light brown head. Aroma's of roasted malts, chocolate, berries. Retronasal there's a bit of the usual moss. Flavour is above moderate sweet, light moderate roasty bitter and there's a bit of fruity sourness. Fairly full bodied. Long finish with char, ash, firmly bitter.
