This coconut bomb is brewed with malted barley and oats grown by Thrall Family Farm in Windsor Locks, a huge hit of coffee, freshly roasted by Ashlawn Farm in Old Saybrook, followed up with twenty five pounds of toasted coconut (imported to CT via African and European swallows), and finished with just a hint of nutmeg (what other spice belongs in a beer celebrating The Nutmeg State?!). We’re making Nathan Hale proud. And so should you.

Can, from Broadway Dive Bar, Manhattan. Pours opaque dark brown with a very small frothy tan head, mocha-molasses aroma, low carbonation, mildly sweet cocoa taste with molasses and coconut, faint nutmeg, thin body, long cocoa finish. Tasty.

Can brewed at 12 Percent Beer Project from Livonia Liquor. Pours a pitch black with a finger of brown head that dissipates. Dark chocolate on the nose but as it warms nutmeg and coffee notes open up. Don't get a lot of coconut but maybe it's there. Nutmeg, dark chocolate and coffee on the finish.

New brewery hunting. Dont typically buy anything with coconut. Dark black pour. Nose is Uber coconut. Tatses of coconut, chocolate , some coffee, hint of names and all spice. Rich and creamy
