Smell of oak, plums, booze. Dark bronze colour, small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, plums, vanilla, sherry, whisky, brown sugar. Lively carbon. Bitter, medium sweet. Does not round off with booziness.

Dark brown with a creamy, beige head. Aroma full of sherry. Raisins in the mix too though, along with the requisite caramel. Taste is bitter throughout, vinous , with a lingering sherry fruitiness that could be more subtle, but remains pleasant. Medium bodied, mild carbonation, extremely dry, especially at the finish, where a moderate, warm booziness makes it dryer yet. Too challenging with its dryness and booziness to make it in any way easygoing, but still pleasant sipping.

Purchased in Hamburg: pours near black with beige head. Aroma is sherry and whiskey, booze, some dark fruitiness. Taste is dryish, barrel, boozy. Not as intense as it could be. Body fairly light for the boost.
