Tap at Beer Hunters. Opaque brown colour, medium-sized creamy brownish head and lace. Aroma has roasted malts, vanilla and cocoa. Medium-bodied Toasted malts, vanilla, cocoa, some alcohol and too much tonka beans. Too parfymic taste.

(Keg at William K Kurvi, 20181221) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, tonka beans and ash. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, tonka beans, dark chocolate, cinnamon, sweetness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, tonka beans, sweetness and bitterness. A rather pleasant burnt brew with, for me, excessive amounts of tonka beans.

Bottle form UJH. Pours dark brown-black with light brownish head. Aroma is chocolate, tonka beans, vanilla. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, chocolate, malt, tonka beans, vanilla. Finish is sweet and boozy with some tar-y bitterness. Overall: small sip is good, but whole bottle is just drinkable. Way too intense (too much of everything) to actually enjoy.
