The ultimate double act. Buddy up with this partnership of equals; two of our biggest hitters swinging in unison. The powerful citrus presence of Elvis pairs up with Jack, as aggressively resinous as ever. Intense lime peel, yuzu and lemon rind runs alongside pounding dry bitterness. Time to play Good Cop, Bitter Cop.

330ml can via Fanzine issue 9. Pours clear orange amber with an off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus zest, resin. Taste is grapefruit juice, resinous, citrus peel, bitter finish as expected. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Decent, although I think I preferred both originals.

Can from BrewDog Fanzine Joyful joyful grapefruit bomb. I'm almost willing to say that this is better than Elvis Juice. Mouth full of citruses with bitter hammer at the end. Very good

The much-discussed blend… Not bad, but would prefer either one of the component beers on their own. #Fanzine09

Can 330ml (Fanzine)
Clear copper colour, small white head. Piney, a bit hop oily aroma, some fruityness. Light to medium-bodied. Pine, lime peel, lime, resin in the flavour. Clean, very typical Brewdog-product. But not very exiciting.

Can at home, Fanzine drop #9, 19/08/18. Clear golden amber with a well presented, lasting, egg shell white head. Nose is pink grapefruit zest, tangerine, grass, airy malts, lemon drizzle, yuzu strains. Taste comprises sharpcitric zest, lemon rind, pink grapefruit, tangerine, toasted grains, grassy, light pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy balanced hop bitterness. Decent refreshing IPA.

Can via BD Fanzine. It pours clear copper with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet, perfumed, candied citrus peel, grapefruit marmalade, toffee, lemon sherbet and yuzu. The taste is firmly dry, good kick of bitterness, oily, plenty of grapefruit, orange oil, pithy, waxy peel, something slightly artificial, peppery spice, some rawness, cracker and grass with a drying finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Something a touch fake about it unfortunately. Ok, but I would much rather have a jackhammer.
