Pours unclear blonde. Small white head. Scent is funky, nutty, some oak. Taste is sharp, dry, funky, mild 'raisin' features. Not overly expressive on the barrel, but a bit more so than the Meursault or Bourbon version. Still, more to be concidered a 'regular' geuze that is quite good, rather than a barrel project to the likes of what Bokke, 3F and Cantillon etc have produced.

Where: MBCC 2024.
Appearance: Opaque dark golden colour with a minimal head.
Aroma: Sour, acidic, fruit, vinous, sweet.
Body: Medium body, low carbonation.
Flavour: Sour, acidic, fruit, vinous, sweet.

No head; clear, still dirty golden beer. Old lambic, raisins, bit sweet - the Sauternes - combined with farmyard odours. Still sour medlars, lactic acid, earthy, brown leaves, winesyrup. Acidthinning but doesn't feel thin at all. No carbonation left. It doesn't strike as gueuze, but it's good, definitely. Txs to Stef and Sam!
