The Porter. He worked himself to death. Day after day. And for what? For other people's welfare. He unloaded and loaded without any intermission. Fortunately, also hops, malt and beer. Thank you, Porter, for your deeds! This Porter with Munich Malt and Pale Malt with vanilla and coriander notes is for you! This Barbarossa I am Porter has been aged in Red Port barrels and is therefor part of the barrel aged selection.

Aus der Flasche im 2025-09 getrunken. Diese Porter mit heller Schaumkrone kommt deutlichen Röstaromen des Getreides daher. Der fruchtige Einfluss durch Port BA, der zugesetzen Vanille und Koriander wirkt für mich leider nicht harmonisch.

Cloudy, brownish color and an off-white head. Fruity nose of orange and orange zest. Spicy, fruity Taste, less intense Finish, dry and wine-ish. What the Heck is Red Port?

Clear reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of red fruits, dark malt, raisins. Taste of dark Red fruits, dark malt, red wine.

Dunkel malziger Beginn, deutliche Säure. Erhöhte Karbonisierung, ansteigende Röstnoten, leichte Bitterkeit. Nicht ganz harmonisch aber doch nett. 10/8/7/8/9/8
