(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 26 Oct 2024) Dark amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with toast, dried apricots and earthy hops. Malty, roasted taste with notes of toast, apricots, orange peel and a generous earthy bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Amber colour, mediumsized off-white head, which leaves good lace. Aroma is floral, wooden, mildly herbal and somewhat spicy with some nutty and sweet malts. Flavour is herbal, floral and mild bitter wooden and nutty tones. Nice floral and wooden bitterness in the aftertaste.

--Bottled, from Systembolaget. -- Clear copper colour, mid sized head. Leafy, earthy, bready nose with some apples. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Spicy and leafy with burnt caramel. Resinous bitter finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Gjutarns Goda on 28 Sep 2023 at 15:33 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Original review text: --Keg at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. -- Clear mahogany colour, small head. Aroma of red apples, toast and leafs. Mid sweet with light to medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Toast and caramel, notes of chocolate. Low to medium bitterness. Yes, Skebo is back! New brewer, not yet any cask ales, and perhaps not yet at Skebo class. Still, this calls for celebration.
