deep russet color. Notes of cherries, strawberries and oranges with a touch of toffee. Light body, medium bitterness, not an amazing mouthfeel but not bad. Good depth.
Very nice! Lot more character than I expected. Malty, biscuit, boozy sweetness, nice! But dangerous.

Baeren Sticke Filtered 7% In the bottle it had a malty caramel malt aroma, in the glass it added big grassy herbal hop notes. It’s a beautiful shiny caramel brown with thick fluffy beige foam. Fairly full bodied with a surprisingly bitter grassy herbal hop bite. I’m not a huge fan of altbiers so this higher ABV version with more bitterness went down really smoothly. Served in a stange glass.

Bottle from the brewery. Nutty malt nose, toasty, dry caramel, spicy hops. Deep amber to brown, clear, fluffy head. Toasty and dry malt with a soft caramel nutty sweetness and a dry, bitter hop finish. Definitely beefier than the regular alt, but doesn’t feel boozy. Smooth and rounded but not heavy.
