30/IV/24 - 33cl bottle as a gift, shared @ home, BB: II/2026, LOT23294 (2024-262) Thanks to Marjan for the bottle!
Clear dark red brown beer, big solid creamy beige head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: yeasty, overripe banana, lots of caramel, sugary impression, a hint of chocolate and coffee, smoky touch. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter, very roasted, lots of overripe banana, bitter roast, yeasty, a little sugary, some caramel, meh. Aftertaste: very yeasty, harsh roast, pretty messy, more banana, caramel, sweet finish, bleh, donβt like it at all.

33cl bottle from supermarket MAENHOUT in Oostende. F: medium, tanned, good retention. C: black, opaque. A: roasted tones, coffee, cocoa, bit herbal, toffee, berries. T: medium malty base, roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, bit herbal, dry on the palate, dark bread crust, medium carbonation, smooth mouthfeel, bit watery yet ok for the style, enjoyed.
