Huge, fluffy, just off-white head over veiled yellow-copper beer, finely carbonated. Sucade, bit ginger-ish, preserved orangepeel. 'Hot' malts. More very strong-flavoured spices, preserved orange & ditto ginger, sushi style. Fruit & ginger cake. Medium bodied, very slick, medium to well carbonated. Bit weird. If this is drinking Bruxellois, as it says on the label, the Brusseleirs are a perfumey lot. It's not really everyone's drink, no? Txs to Stef!

Lichtbruin bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter en ietwat kruidig met wat graan en citrus. ok.

Red/amber, hazy pour with a stable white head. Aromas of malt/grain, (sweet) citrus, a hint of hops. Taste is similar, adding some herbs and fruits for a decent bitter finish. Well done

Clear orange beer, big creamy bit irregular off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lovely, very floral, lots of tropical fruits, a bit oxidized, nice stuff! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter start, soapy bitterness, floral, some grapefruit, tropical fruits, decent. Aftertaste: very bitter, a bit soapy, floral, some grapefruit, juicy, very bitter finish, good one!

Bottle at the brewery. Medium body, medium carbonation. Medium bitterness, light sweetness. Medium phenolic spiciness, med-light general fruitiness, light caramelly maltiness. Drinkable, good, a little bit more resembling something you could call an IPA, than their core Jawa IPA, but still a definitely Belgian twist here, with rather weak hops character. Tasty and drinkable though.
