1/5/2023. Can from New Zealand Beer Collective shared at SBGP2. Pours clear bright amber red with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, candy, orange, truffle, dried fruit, fruit cake. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium to full body, slightly creamy, average to soft carbonation. Enjoyed this.

33cl can from Kaffee Bazaar webshop. F: medium, tan, average retention. C: dark brown, light hazy. A: malty, mellow fruity, banana, peach, dried fruits, candied orange. T: full malty base, banana, candied fruits, peach, toffee touch, orange, bready, vinous touch, medium carbonation, quite nice for the style, better than I expected, enjoyed for sure.

Can. Almost clear dark amber beer, small bubbly tan head. Palate is light and mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, a light creamy sweetness. Belgian candy fruits are obvious if lacking a little of the richness you might expect. A little creamy nuttyness on the back end and into a light finish. Truffle more obvious on the nose than the tongue. Not bad but feels like quadruple light to me.

Can bought at Anchor Tap, Horsham. Aroma has caramel with a boozy edge and dark dried fruit. Medium sweet. Molasses. Treacle. Bitter edge. Tangy sourness. An earthy umami streak appears. Light-medium bodied. Creamy. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Rich sums it up nicely. But definitely not sessionable.
