Tight creamy light brown head stayed on very dark brown still body. Dark chocolate, chocolate cake & malt aroma. Medium bodied, soft & aerous on the palate with a thick cloying back. Coffee, demerara, chocolate, caramel, biscuit & nutty tastes.

Dark, dark brown with a frothy, beige head. Aroma of fudge with mild coffee undertones. Taste is bittersweet, full of milk chocolate, coffee, roasted grain. Trends mildly bitter at the finish with the coffee grounds taking over. Good, straightforward stuff but nothing exceptional.

Can on the train home, 68011, 18/10/19. Black with a decent tan head. Nose is chocolate biscuit, mellow roast, light ashen, dried fruits. Taste comprises milk chocolate, vanilla, light coffee, roast malts, raisins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light dryness in the close. Not bad ... would have liked more coffee but decent none the less.

Draught @ Beer Temple Aroma has coffee, licorice and hay. Flavour has mocha coffee, licorice, toffee and hints of ash. Feels a bit English. Good stuff.
