A collaboration with Thin Man Brewery, this is the next offering in the Stowe Style series: a malt-forward, early spring pale lager, using Weyermann Pilsner and Munich malts. A light dry-hopping brings a floral, grassy, and spicy bouquet to the nose. This is a modern take on the classic springtime Bock to ring in the summer days ahead.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to mug.
Appearance: copper color with a finger and a half of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: rich malty breadiness with herbal to caramel-like tones, light floral hop spice sliding in underneath for balance
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to lean to the malty side initially then some light hoppy spice does make a decent play for the balance; finishes caramel malty toned
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable, pretty smooth along the tongue
Overall: nicely done Maibock worth coming back to.

Can. Deep gold, hazy, full head. Rich malty nose, biscuits, light caramel and toast, herbal hops. Delicious malt flavor, very biscuity and rich but not at all overly sweet. Full body, nice hop flavors but purely noble, excellent stuff. Top class and very unique for the style.

Tip Tap Room draught, 7/28/22. Clear, deep brass-bronze-golden. Medium-sized, well-retained, off-white head. Huge honey, sourdough and fresh herb nose is balanced, tending malty with no flaw or alcohol. Light minerality. Soft and malty in the mouth with a good balance between a full body, rich, malty beer and yet preserving good attenuation with hop bitterness and attenuation on the finish. Clean with rustic and sourdough-like malt flavors complementing the fresh herbal notes. Light minerality with no alcohol noted.

Halfway through the bocks I bought this week. Light orange pour and bit of head. Nose is sourdough and pepper. Tastes of sourdough fairly prominent, white pepper, grass, perfume, hint of fruits like dried apricot and fig. Some booze.

Taster at VT Bierhall. Dark golden , small creamy white head. Bready aroma, sourdough. Taste brings some strength with it, creamy, bready flavors. Finishes with a little snap.
