The tip of the top, the cream of the crop, you’ve got World on a String. This beer was inspired by a classic cocktail: the Old Fashioned. We brew an amber ale with orange peel and age it in bourbon barrels. A hint of citrus, a whiff of bourbon, a touch of spice, and you’ve got memories that’ll last until the day after forever.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run, 1/12/21. Hazy copper. Thin tan head, good retention. Aroma of whiskey, citrus, oak, caramel. Taste is whiskey, vanilla, oak, raisin, orange. Full bodied, moderate booze. Nice end to the night.

Really blown away by this pint. Generally not a fan of beers designed after cocktails, but Allagash have something special here. Sweet, but not overwhelmingly so, with a subtle brown sugar undertone backed up by veins of vanilla, date, and orange, offset by a woody bitterness and modest bourbon notes on the fade. More subtle than you’d expect, but elegant in its restraint. Delicious.

12 ounce bottle. Amber orange pour. Small creamy beige head. Sweet toasted malt nose. Notes of oak, orange peel and brown sugar. Flavor mirrors nose. Added notes of bourbon and dried fruit. Complex and flavorful.

Kind of tastes like an old fashioned. Golden amber pour with good head and lacing. Bourbon and orange peel. Some prune. Nice stuff. Bottle.

Pours dark brown into a tulip. Off-white head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface. Orange and bourbon aromas. Thick with orange peel and sweet caramel front to back. Lasting warming bourbon and vanilla finish.
