Hey Ho! Pistachio! Bourbon, Orange and Pistachio run a blitzkrieg on your taste buds! This Imperial Stout was aged in Woodford Reserve Bourbon barrels for over 6 months then finished on oranges and pistachio flour.

Sampler at the downtown taproom deep dark chocolate brown with a few tan bubbles. Big sweet chocolate and cherry. The dark roast is sweet and there is just a bit of bitter at the end. Slick smooth sweet and very much a dessert beer. Tasty for what it is

Snifter at brewery. Black pour with a few bubbles. Aroma leads with some orange peel, sweet. Taste brings the pistachios, notes of orange and a base layer of toasty malts. Quite tasty.
