We overflowed the mash tun with roasted barley and chocolate malt to brew the Imperial Stouts that became Antediluvian. This abyssal liquid sat in oak barrels for over four years. The extended aging added complexity, with strong notes of dark cherry, vanilla pod, leather, and sherry wine. A variation of the beer was also conditioned on vanilla beans & coconut.

Taster at Alefort. Dark brown pour, flat. Coconut first on the nose, sweet, vanilla. Taste is sweet, brown sugar, vanilla, coconut more muted than in the taste. Really, really sweet, but strength is not readily apparent.
