From tap at Dois Corvos, Lisboa. Milk chocolate aroma with notes of coffee, spicy notes, lactose, roasted malt, mexicake spices. Medium sweet with a roasty bitter finish. Full body. Pretty good, aromatic and full.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 30A: chocolate, chili, vanilla, cinnamon / 31B: lactose, candi sugar / base: 20C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L673 2306 (BB: 062026). AROMA: medium-low chilli aroma with a slight hot note followed by a medium-low to low chocolate character. medium boozy alcoholic note. faint roasty note. APPEARANCE: very dark brown color and opaque. faint brown head with no retention. TASTE: initial sweet roasted flavor with notes of sweet chocolate followed by faint vanilla and medium-low boozy alcohol. low dry-chilli note background. medium bitterness balancing the sweetness. finishes semi-dry to dry with a hint of roasted malts and smooth chilli heat. MOUTHFEEL: medium-high body with medium-low carbonation. smooth alcoholic warmth. OVERALL: a pastry stout with well balanced sweetness but where some ingredients are almost absent removing some complexity. the base stout is only perceived in the slight roasty notes.

Frothy off-white fair mostly diminishing head. Black colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Long moderate bitter finish. Alas chili present. Dont put chili in beer! Creamy palate.

Huge nice head. Chocolate and cinnamon galore, but not too sweet. Very nice.
