Frejdahl Skolder was developed specifically for enjoyment together with the 12-year Highland Park whisky. In a most distinguished way, the sweetness of the beer captures the warming character of the whisky. At the same time, the whisky blending with the hints of chocolate from the malt generates a harmonic and classic combination. The delicate smoky Highland Park flavour is elegantly reflected in Skolder’s slightly smoky aroma.

At DØF 2017 Dark brown colour with small off beige head,Aroma is sweet with chocolate nots and sweet taste of whisky and malt,nice mild warming mouthfeels and slight smoked finish good overall.

Bottle 750ml. corked @ home. [ As Frejdahl Skolder ].Clear dark black - red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, wood, smoke, light to moderate chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, chocolate, dark malt, smoked, wood, light vanilla, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle @ Home, courtesy of Ole, thanks! Aroma of very dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma of malt, dark caramel, light smoke, light licorice, some dark fruit. Flavor is fairly sweet, malty, caramel, little burned sugar, light smoke, dried fruit, dates. Medium body, average to lively carbonation. 010117
