16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Near black pour; thick, fluffy beige head. Aroma is roasty malts, burnt toast. Taste starts with brisk roasty bitterness, followed by chocolatey notes. Perfect feel for the style. Would love see a cask version of this

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a large tan head of small frothy texture. Aroma of dark malt having nothing to do with burnt or toasted. Med body or so. Flavor is malt matching the aroma - lightly dark/bready - sort of like a schwarzbier malt with some tangy hop for bitter. Towards dry, mildly bitter. Taste matches some milds I've had over the pond, but perhaps a tad maltier. Or not. Good drink.
