Bottle shared by Joen. Opaque black color, small beige to light brown colored head. Aroma and flavor are malts, soft roast, soy sauce lightly, "katjes-drop" some sweetness in there of course. Boozy. Full body, thick texture, soft carbonation. Good, but over the top, I'd say and definitely overpriced.

deep and complex aroma with roasted malts, dark chocolate, sweet toasted breadymalts, vanilla.
flavor is quite sweet and a bit boozy with notes from the booze from the barrels. very slightly oxidized or mouldy tree like notes, aroma better than flavor, but flavor is quite fine, like a high end french dessert liquer or something. Also resembles a pastry stout a bit. alc. is held well, with the boozy notes being like very flavorful high end booze, not cheap vodka. Good sipper, though not my favorite personal taste. It is complex and clean, though. No burnt or dark caramel, only variations of malty goodness and then the booze and a lot of dark chocolate and a bit vanilla and oak.

Taster from a bottle pour, courtrsy of Zozo and Lajos, thanks a lot! Deep, almost black pour with an off-white head. Lots of chocolate, light coffee and toffee, nuts, shitloads of bourbon and vanilla.

Bottle. Really close to black colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is liquorice, some rather bitter floral and fruity tones with roasted malts, wood, bourbon and some mild chocolaty tones. Flavour is chocolate, liquorce, some dried fruits, bourbon, wood and mild toasted tones as well. Alcohol is somewhat burning in this one, but still on the gentle side of things.

--Bottled. -- Black, minimal brown head. Aroma of oaky red wine, caramel and custard. Sweet with full body and silky mouthfeel. Vanilla and caramel, coffee and oaky red wine. Warming mid bitter finish. A really great base beer, but then they simply killed it with cloying vanilla - like pouring ketchup all over fine dining.
