Collaboration with Other Half

In 2021 we visited Other Half (Washington, DC) to brew Cone Concentrate - a DIPA with Omega's Cosmic Punch® and loads of Simcoe and Simcoe Cryo. It was so good we invited them up to brew a similar batch at Sapwood!
Other Half asked us to rebrew one of our collabs with them to celebrate their 10th Anniversary! For this second batch of Drenched in Green we blended Simcoe from each brewery for added depth of mango and pine. Congrats to them!
Batch #1 (September 2022) - 8.2% ABV
Batch #2 (February 2024) - 8.1% ABV

Aromas are citrus, onion with a little resin and malt. Flavors are similar to nose, with good balance between bitter, sweet and soft carbonation. Easy drinking.

16oz can from Tavour. I loved everything Sapwood has produced to date, so to see them team up with Other Half gets me pumped. Hazy orange golden pour with a small paper thin white head. Light citrusy aroma, orange peel with some green hoppiness. Taste this orange juice, grapefruit peel, with some classic happiness slipping in at the back. A little bit of bitterness lingers on the pallet, but other than that a pretty clean finish.

Poured a hazy golden yellow color with a medium, white head. Aroma was lemon, tangerine, lime. Flavor was grapefruit, light bitter citrus.

Other Half 10th Anniversary. Pours hazy yellow. Papaya, lemon, tangerine, lime. Medium body. Fine.
