On tap at Great Notion - Ballard, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is ridiculously expressive on the maple syrup upfront, followed by gentler peanuts and vanilla, and a boatload of sugar. Flavour is like a dessert, with intense peanut and maple syrupy upfront, followed by intense sugars and light vanilla. No roast whatsoever — just carried by the sugar and adjuncts. Not my kind of impie or even pastry impie — made for idiots who don't really like beer. But it's still decent for what it is.

500ml bottle at share. Inky black pour, thin tan head. Dark chocolate aroma, notes of vanilla, roasty malts. Taste is chocolate, roasty, sweet, light coffee, rounded out by some vanilla. Smooth.

500ml bottle pours out black topped with a small brown head. Nose is sweet chocolate roast malts vanilla. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate forward rich roast malts vanilla coffee very good.

Bottle. Pours a jet black hue with a tiny bubble of head. A big nose of coffee and syrup. Rich, huge maple syrup, sticky, toffee, vanilla, big roasted coffee. Huge beer.

Dark brown, okay this is bitter with maple over top and a metric fucktonne of peanuts. Like it'�s so much it'�s almost chaotic.

Peanuts on the nose, big maple at first, though transcends into a creamy peanut butter as breathes it a bit. Vanilla beans and a slight chocolate flavor. Wonderful concoction.
