66 cl bottle @ olio
Aroma has 1:1 to the beer you’d expect to feel when you come across to a bourbon barrell aged Armerican beer. It has vanilla, bourbon and sweet malt. Flavour has sweet malt, caramel, resin, malt and vanilla. An overdose of sweetness, vanilla, bourbon and whiskey – but I love it!

650ml bottle from Belmont Station. Cheers to the best bottle shop in Portland! Pours dark reddish orange with a smooth head. Aroma of bourbon, wood, oak, caramely malts, toffee, vanilla and hints of hops. Taste is sweetish, caramely malty and oaky with loads of toffee, bourbon, wood, hints of butter, vanilla and syrup. Finish is heavy, sweetish and massively bourbony with some toffee, caramely malts, wood, oak and vanilla. Quite a lot of bourbon here. Heavy, but oh so tasty.

Sample at Belmont Station. This brew pours a clear dark reddish-brown color with a medium thick light beige head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing on he glass. The aroma is oaky with bourbon, malt and fruit notes. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, caramel malt, dark fruit and vanilla. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.

On tap at Belmont. Pours a ruddy copper color with a small white head. A massive barrel nose, vanilla, sugary whiskey heat. The base is so good and big it stands up to the huge barrel, berries, caramel, toast, oak, sugary vanilla and toffee. The barrel is big hot and so damn good. Huge bourbon. Lovely. This is super drinkable and superb.

Bottle share, thank you to Toby. Dark amber color with a thin finger of creamy beige head. Aromatic with bourbon barrel treatment, toffee, malts, and booze. Very bourbon barrel forward, through and through. Sweet taste, but heavy booze. Light vanilla and burnt caramel. A big beer and well done for sure.

On tap at Belmont Station, pours a hazy dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is extremely rich, with loads of bourbon, toffee, dark fruits and candied sugar that is rather pronounced. Flavour is complex as hell and impeccably balanced, with toffee, rich bourbon barrels, some vanilla and dark fruits. Phenomenal depth to this. The barrels are used to perfection here, creating a really well-rounded, decadent beer that doesn't overdo it.
