tasted 2025-10-19 heavy solid slightly boozy aroma, very well balanced and blended. i get barley wine and cellar aging, then a lot of really subte very faint notes that add to the complexity some of the slightly fruity, faint chocolate.
flavor is toffee, faint fruits, peppery alc boost, roasted malts, bourbon, oak, there is a lot going on, some very sweet malty notes, also some oranges like notes, the dark chocolate, the wood, the bourbun. yet it all balances so well. some of the flavors lead me to think of port wine, but this one feels lots more punchy than a port wine, also lots more refined. It could be the cognaq barrels that is adding a few unusual notes.
dkk 1300 at Kihoskh, an expensive tick. Fortunately it's a great sipper, so i guess it's only 130dkk per sip.

Bottle. Very deep rubyish black colour, no head. Aroma is liquorice, alcohol, some quite evident barrels, Massive, but a bit over the top. Flavour is dried fruits, chocolate, alcohol, barrel and some sweetness as well. A bit too sweet. But still very nice.

Rated at Pien Shop. Anchorage-lärvilautanen 1/3. Intense, heavy and slightly stingy with loads of barrel notes, bourbon, vanilla, cognac, hints of syrup, toffee, caramel and prunes. Heavy and warming, quite massive, complex and balanced slow sipper. Great stuff

Waxed, capped 375 from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a slight dark tan head. Aroma of bourbon, chocolate with a definite brandy note. Full bodied. Tingly a bit. Thick and sweet. Heat not hurtful but strong. Chocolate, brandy and some bourbon notes. Lots of dark malt. Extremely tasty.
