This will be my last RateBeer rating, as the site will be closing down on February 1st, 2025. 16 ounce can from Tavour. Clear dark amber color. Frothy beige head settles to a small cap. Earthy rye grain aroma. Tangy malt flavor. Notes of caramel and sultanas. Some residual sweetness. Dry, spicy finish. Thanks for the memories, RateBeer. I’ll miss you.

Can. Pours clear copper, small beige head, good lacing. Aroma is rye, grain, caramel pine. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter. Prominrnt rye notes. Merlin body. Good

16oz can from Tavour. Clear amber pour, one finger off-white creamy head. Malty aroma, dark bread. Taste bursts forth, malty, rye, light savory notes, ginger snaps. Lovely texture also, feels so good. Light lingering savory flavors on the palate.

Can from Tavour. Pours darkly ruddy with a huge beige/tan head that laced down. Aroma is full of rye. Med body at least. It's not dry, but far from sweet. Rye is the main thing. Rye spice seems to stand in for bitter. Rye it is!
