Taster flight at brewery. Dark brown pour, ring of beige head. Aroma is toasty dark malts, toast. Taste is mildly bitter, toasty, nutty. Smooth.

Draft at Woody's, North East, MD, where it’s labeled as “Elk River Woody’s Brown.” Drinking with my first crab dinner (bisque). Nice brown color, leggy head, with a nose of toasty malt and coffee. Taste is nice and light for the style. A little red wine, then the toasted malts, and a slight earthy not of English go. Definitely a nice go with for crab meals.

Very dark brown with a medium sized tan head. Toasty and woody with a hint of coffee. Medium finish and body.
