Tap at Brewdog Tallinn. Med-full body, med-high carbonation. Medium bitterness, medium sweetness. A surprising light smokiness here, I was thinking more in terms of beech smoke, other people are saying phenolic peaty kind. It is weird either way. But other than that it is a classic clovey peppery weizen, more phenolic than estery, low banana. Medium bitterness, med-light sweetness. Light grassy citrusy hops character. Good one, even if a bit quirky.

33cl bottle from Sip, I think.Poured deep golden color with a thick white head.Banana notes, ripe fruits, hops, floral notes in aroma.Flavor has wheat, banana, mild spices, sweetness and mild hops. Not really my cup of tea. But nothing wrong with the beer.

Pours nice darker orange, cloudy as it is supposed to be. Nose is fresh but filled with banana esters, hefe yeast clearly there, cloves etc. Tastes more bitter than hefe usually would - and this is balancing this quite nicely, feels drier and easier to drink. Smashable for sure, solid brew.

33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours slightly hazy golden with a fairly modest, white head. Fruity and slightly wheaty aroma with hints of ripe bananas, citrus and herbs. Moderate sweet with fruity flavours, light acidic notes and ditto bitterness. Enjoyable and refreshing.

Bottle (from UJH). Pours amber with hiteish head. Aroma is sweet, banana, yeast, some citrus. Flavor is sour, sweet, fruity, wheat, citrus, oranges, tangerines. Finish is hoppy. Overall: this beer lacks the proper "balls" of good hefe as the base beer just lacks the complexity of good hefe, feels more like average kristallweizen, although it does not appear to be filtered. It is also bit too sour for the style and wheatiness/bananess is not too prominent (it may have something to do with the yeast?!). I actually would like it to be even more hoppy than it is. BUT hopfenweisse is one of my favorite styles, so I am really happy that someone in Estonia has tried to do it (and it is a decent attempt), extra points to overall for that. Maybe increase the wheatiness and even ABV? And why not to try weizen bock as base of this kind of beer? (I have had some really good craft hopfenweisses in 6-8 ABV range).
