An indulgent imperial Baltic porter brewed with dried coffee cherries to celebrate Baltic Porter Day 2024.

Taste: Bittersweet notes of dark chocolate and amaretto intertwine with dried berry undertones. As the flavors develop, subtle whispers of vanilla, toasted malt and blackcurrant jam echo through the beer.

Appearance: A pitch black beer with a luscious tan head.

Nose: A tantalizing blend of sweet cherry compote, double shot of espresso, toasted almonds and a delightful hint of warming spices.

Malts: Munich light, pilsner zero, rye malt, chocolate rye, red rye crystal, Carafa special T-2

Bottled 330ml (Alko web)
Dark brown colour, tiny beige head. Aroma has toastyness, cinnamon and alcohol with touch of cherries. Full-bodied. Toastyness, ginger bread, some cherries, alcohol. Sweetish, unorthodox Estonian Baltic Porter.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - opaque and jet black with a thin beige head. Nose - this is like tonka straight up, but apparently it's coffee cherries. Taste - more tonka, sweet coffee and dark chocolate. Palate - medium bodied, sweet middle and finish. Overall - good stuff.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Clear deep brown beer, thin pale tan head. Smooth and mildly dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth if slightly thin dark malts. A little thin dark malt cream supports light but rich coffee. Rich in flavour but almost completely sans any earthyness or bitterness. Different! Mild spice before a trace of dark chocolate on the semi dry finish. Hmm! Just a bit different this brew. I guess the coffee cherries are making for a different coffee delivery and that suits me just dandy on this particular brew.

Draught@Mallaskukko, Turku. Pitch black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is hazelnut, alcohol, liquorice, some mild wooden tones as well. Flavour is utty, some mild alcohol, dried fruity, marzipan and coffee tones to it. Sweetish, but very nice.
