Black topped with a khaki cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is dark chocolate, raisins, tonka hit, coffee, mellow roast.
Taste comprises figgy jam, liquorice stick, mellow roast, raisins, chocolate, light candied fruit notes, cinnamon bark.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Solid.

Full body, light carbo. High sweetness, med-high bitterness. Not cloying tho. Fully malty, with high chocolate, cocoa, med toffee, med-light coffee. Med-high tonka. Not the most complex, but intense and tasty, easy sipping. Alc pleasant, light warmth.

Head is thin, tanned, quick gone. Colour is black, opaque. Aroma is roasted tones, coffee, cocoa, coconut, chocolate. Taste is full malty base, roasted tones, nice spicy, liquorice, dried plums, decent bitterness, medium carbonation, good one, enjoyed.

33cl can from AbeerVinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark purple, with no foam. Aroma is intensely toasted, with some cocoa beans and licorice as well. Body is thick, sticky and with moderate carbonation. Taste is fairly sweet, intense with some roasty bitterness. Final is long, of medium intensity.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is cinnamon and tonka with chocolate, roasted malt, gingerbread, spice, some vanilla. Flavour is sweet with a mild bitterness and a little alcohol in the finish. Full body. Very good spicy tonka Stout.
