Bottle, BB 03.01.2015 (from koht yard sale). Pours hazy amber with wihteish head. Not a gusher, but tries to climb out of the bottle. Aroma medicinal, harsh sour, almost corked wine, citric. Flavor is sour, sweet and harsh bitter, citrus, medicinal notes, again some corked wine. Overall: not really good, and feels really off. Since it is way over BB i'm really generous with my rating (the beer in front of me would get less than 2). Compared to for example Amarillo version (which was only a couple of months less over BB when i tried it), this feels really dirty and off. Medium creamy offwhite head. Slightly hazy amber body with light carbonation. Spicy fruity resiny aroma with wooden floral notes. Dry resiny wooden taste with floral spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish floral resiny citric aftertaste with mealy grassy notes. Nice, straightforward IPA. (0.3l draft at S. Brevinga, Riga.)
