The base beer that went into the barrels was actually the thickest brew we've ever made. This exquisitely thick elixir has been nurtured and matured for thirteen months within the sacred confines of Middleton Very Rare Irish Whiskey barrels,
transforming it into a masterpiece of unparalleled depth and character.
With each velvety sip, the whispers of rich Irish whiskey dance harmoniously with the robust dark malt profile, creating an experience that is nothing short of extraordinary.

Can from the moersleutel advent calendar - thanks to my bro for sharing. It pours oily jet black with a small brown head. The aroma is rich and intoxicating, bitter - sweet, dark and decadent, deep roasted malt, plenty of chocolate, fudge brownies, vanilla, cake frosting, rock road, maltesers, mars bar, salted caramel and whiskey soaked fruit cake. The taste is slick, oily, bitter - sweet, chewy, toothy, plenty of chocolate, vanilla cake frosting, chocolate gateaux, heady whiskey vibes, dark roasted malt, spicy, vanilla fudge, toffee, mars bar, maltesers, warming booze, whiskey soaked fruit cake and whiskey soaked oak. Fulsome body, fine carbonation and slick, oily mouth feel. Rich and decadent, yet somehow drinks pretty easy.
This is a very good beer. IT’s the Classic base, but not polluted with other stuff, and even better than some of their regulars. Moersleutel advent
