Can at home 24/12/2023 sweet and medium roasted malty with opulent chocolate, coffee roast and brown sugar, some sweet toffee and caramel sweetness, amazing thick dense mouthfeel and body, whisky soaked warming lingering malty finish. Lovely.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Viscous black, faint dark brown head. Aroma of cocoa powder. Very sweet with full body viscous mouthfeel. Cocoa powder and sugar, hints of oaky whiskey. Syrupy warming finish. While very sweet and abnormally viscous it is completely free from cakeyness, so it works as some sort of (fairly one dimensional) chocolate liqueur.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small white head. Aroma is liquorice, chocolate some alcohol, mild toasted notes and toffee/fudge. Flavour is quite similar, but a really nicely balanced as such, though the booziness gives a kick. Pleasant still.

ABV: 14.0%. Dark black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, light brown head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, molasses, dark malt, cocoa, dark fruit, brown sugar, barrel, whisky, moderate to heavy chocolate and coffee, smoke touch. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, malt bitter, roasted, dark chocolate, molasses, chocolate - coffee, bunrt bitter, whisky, barrel, smoke - peat touch. Body is full, texture is creamy - syrupy, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming and moderate alcoholic. [20240120]

440 ml can. Pours a thick black with very short tan head. Aromas of chocolate fudge, soft smooth whiskey, and slick roasted malts. Flavors of chocolate syrup, vanilla, soft sweet whiskey and rich oily toasted malts. Warm finish. Thick and delicious.
