Veel lichter gestort dan grote broer Murder, is Permanent Vacation makkelijk drinkbaar met toch veel smaak en aroma.
Typische stout-toetsen van gebrande mout blijven duidelijk op de voorgrond met daarnaast aroma's van tropisch fruit en kokosnoot.
Met 45 IBU blijft Permanent Vacation een licht bitter bier (hop - Target en Polaris), weliswaar mooi in balans met de aroma's van Sabro en Callista in de whirlpool en de dry-hop.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, a little stable, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: nice, lots and lots of coconut, good roast, dark chocolate, a bit fruity, rum, rum soaked raisins, alcohol, a bit oxidized. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of coconut, good roast, bitter, hoppy, dark chocolate, dry, slightly sweet. Aftertaste: more coconut, rum, soft acidity, chocolate, alcohol touch, fruity notes, a bit sourish, roasted finish.

A black beer with a beige head. Aroma of intense coconut, sweet dark malt, some chocolate. Taste of heavy coconut, dark chocolate malt, caramel, vanilla.

Mild säuerlicher, dann eher schokoladiger Beginn mit deutlichen Kokosnoten. Zunehmende Herbe von geringem Level aus, etwas getreidig, geringe Bitterkeit, zum Ende Röstnoten. Mittellanger Abgang. 9/10/9/9/7/9

Donkerbruin tot zwart bier met mooi beige schuim wat helaas snel wegzakt. Smaak is bitter en licht fruitig zuur met duidelijk iets van mango en bessen tussen de karamel, rook en koffiesmaken.
